Following our review of the information, The Project will use the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to obtain independent verification of the corrupt official or questionable transaction. Next, the Democracy Project will investigate your concerns utilizing its experienced volunteers and publish the findings in StreetCred. Serious allegations of criminal misconduct will also be turned over to prosecutorial officials. StreetCred will also follow investigative referrals made to the prosecutor and publish updates on the investigation until its final disposition. Because our FOIA request to government will have no direct relationship with you, the individual employee is taken out of the mix as StreetCred exposes the misconduct. As a news outlet, StreetCred will not turn over to local officials the names of participating sources. However, your concerns will be investigated and brought to light.
